Public Awareness
The International Macaque Awareness Day is a yearly event that the project organises at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Surrey to promote responsible tourism and an appreciation for a monkey species that is wildlife seen in Asia.
Festival of Wings, an annual event in Malaysia at Kuala Selangor supported by our amazing team of volunteers. We engaged with the public to create an awareness about sharing an ecosystem with monkeys and how to change common practices in monkey habitat areas. Children really enjoyed the event, and so did we!
Public engagement event with university students at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. These students shared their space with monkeys and needed some help with how to prevent them from entering their rooms.
